Coffee corner
Working at a huge company means that the coffee-corner is a magical place where people actually do small talks or...not. It can get oddly awkward, silent or enormously fun. It all depends on two things. 1) The person(s) you're standing with. 2) Timing. So the timing part was a little bit off the other day. I wasn't in a very awesome mood and needed some caffeine to start my day. It was early and just as I would walk out of the coffee corner to my awesomely silent BU, she said, with a loud voice. "HEY! Did you cut your hair?!" I turned around, smiled and politely answered her question. This lady, well... colleague (I didn't really know but since we work on the same departement, we see each other 'often') was very surprised and said I had to had balls to do that, she kept trying to indicate me with her hand on her sides to show me how long my hair was before. Like I did not know that. Somehow, she found me courageous she said. It does really look good on you, oh, it sure does! She said and I thanked her. I did not really understand. Besides...it's not like I have a dude haircut, it's just shorter. Ok fine, way shorter maybe.
Cafeteria
Standing in line, patiently waiting to put some cash on my chipknip account to buy myself lunch at work. Thoughts running through my head, nothing specific, just when I was staring at my phone. suddenly someone behind me asked "Does he still love you, yes...?'' - Yes, course he does, I answer. "You cut your hair...?'' -Yea, I thought, It would be fun. It will grow back anyway. I hope so atleast...''. " Yeah don't worry, your nails do too right?'' He smiled.
